Medium showcased its collection ‘Out of the BlueRedYellow’ on the Sustainable Fashion Day at the  Lakme Fashion Week, Spring/Summer 2020.

‘Out of the BlueRedYellow’ carries forward the philosophies of zero-waste pattern making and natural dyeing by revisiting the ever-evolving wardrobe of ideas that originated from our former garment collection ‘Out of the Blue’. It is a capsule collection of sarees and garments that come alive with textures, living and breathing in sync with the wearer.

Behind the scenes of Out of the BlueRedYellow

Expressed through the traditional Japanese craft of Shibori, these dynamic and textural garments are in a palette of primary colours with an array of dots playfully arranged across the textiles. Arranged in scatters and groups, forming varied shapes and forms, these dots are designed to guide the function of the apparel.

The collection has been co-created & realised at Aranya Naturals, Munnar, Kerela.
