Lateral Shirt - Clay

The Lateral Root Shirt draws inspiration from the way lateral roots extend outward from a central root system, creating branching networks beneath the soil. Root motifs are placed across the front and back of the garment, reflecting this outward movement and spread.

This shirt is Studio Medium’s familiar zero-waste, free-size silhouette. It features a concealed placket and seersucker cuffs that add texture to the construction. The top button features a root-like tassel, a detail that appears across the collection.

The colour palette : Clay, Green Shoot, Loam, Mineral Peach, Sand, Patina and Ivory is derived from research into soils and the minerals that give them their distinct colours.
