Out of the Blue

silk kaftan naturally dyed in Indigo

Out of the Blue is born out of a shared love for circles and Japanese ideologies.

A capsule collection by Studio Medium, this is a range of versatile separates and carefree drapes that sets the skin free. Naturally dyed in Indigo and expressed through the Japanese traditional craft of Shibori, these are trans-seasonal silhouettes that fit all.

handwoven kala cotton wrap robe dyed in natural indigo

A collaboration between Riddhi Jain and Tulika Ranjan, the foundation of this range is set on the philosophies of zero waste pattern making which allows every inch of the fabric to be used. Every garment is a composition of ideas that tumbled and twirled over eachother, to gain form and surprise you each time you interact with it. Simple, striking and elegant, the collection is a statement for the woman interested in passing down her legacy, in physical form as well as in ideology.

Out of the Blue is ageless, season-less and timeless. Lines meander, circles spin and form follows function to create a wardrobe full of ideas that we would like to share with you and keep adding to, mindfully.
